The only disadvantage of wood as natural resources is the fact that it is biodegradable, hence susceptible to both insect (especially termites), fungal and bacterial attacks. This can however be mitigated through existing timber treatment technologies where the timber is impregnated using water based preservative.
The end product is high quality wooden poles for various applications such as Power Transmission, fencing, building and installations.
